About Able Chimney Company, LLC.
Able Chimney Company, LLC has been providing chimney sweeping and inspection services from Bangor to the Hancock county coastal Maine area (and beyond) since 1987. I am the second owner of Able Chimney, and the current President and sole sweep for the company. I purchased Able Chimney Company in August of 2004 and currently service about 650 chimneys annually.
Since purchasing Able Chimney Company, I have successfully completed classes and exams to have been certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) and the Certified Chimney Professionals. I have also been a past member of the National Chimney Sweep Guild and the Maine Association of Chimney Service Professionals. I attend chimney service related continuing education courses with these or other chimney organizations on a regular basis.
I have lived and worked in the Bangor area since 1984. I have a B.S Degree in environmental science from Unity College, and an M.S. Degree in natural resources utilization from the University of Maine.
I reside in Bangor with my wife Angela, and our son, Iann Keb.
